Executive Biography
Md. Rashedul Islam is an entrepreneur, business strategist, and operations executive with over 16 years of leadership experience across investment facilitation, fintech, telecommunications, e-commerce, customer experience, digital platforms, corporate training, and organizational transformation.
As the Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Investor Connect BD (ICB), he leads a platform dedicated to connecting entrepreneurs, startups, SMEs, and growth-stage businesses with investors, strategic partners, and capital opportunities. His vision is to build a trusted investment ecosystem that accelerates business growth, encourages responsible investment, and contributes to the long-term development of Bangladesh's entrepreneurial landscape.
Alongside Investor Connect BD, he founded SikhteChai Skill Academy and The HR Lab, two professional development initiatives focused on leadership, employability, customer experience, sales excellence, and workforce capability development. He also serves as a Guest Trainer at the Art of Sales & Marketing Department of As-Sunnah Skill Development Institute.
Previously, Mr. Rashedul served as the Chief Operating Officer of Edex Global Nexus. Earlier, he held senior leadership positions at Pathao Pay (Pathao Fintech) and Pathao Ltd., overseeing Customer Experience, Learning & Development, Quality Assurance, Fraud Management, Contact Center Operations, and Business Support.
Throughout his career, he has designed and delivered more than 50 corporate training programs and contributed to the professional development of 450+ customer experience professionals. His experience also includes Grameenphone Ltd., Pickaboo.com, Hyper System Ltd. (My Radar), Save the Children, Sword Bangladesh, Edison Group, and United Finance PLC.
Mr. Rashedul holds BSc and MSc degrees in Botany, together with an LLB. He has enhanced his executive capabilities through professional development programs offered by BITM (BASIS), Grameenphone, North South University, and other leading institutions.
